Six Flags

Since 2008, Signal Solutions has been the exclusive low voltage and AV integration partner for all California Six Flags theme park locations. That includes Six Flags Magic Mountain Valencia, Hurricane Harbor Los Angeles, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Vallejo and Hurricane Harbor Concord.

In 2008, after many bad experiences with other low voltage companies, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom reached out to Signal Solutions to design and revamp their telecommunications cable plant. This evolved into installing 76 intermediate distribution frames (IDF) connecting to their main distribution frame (MDF), several wall mounted racks to manage their telecommunications systems while adding 5 miles of fiber optic cable throughout the Discovery Kingdom premises. In 2012 we duplicated that system at the world-famous Magic Mountain in Valencia, installing nearly 100 IDF’s and over 8 miles of fiber optic cable. Not far away at the Six Flags Water Works we added 9 IDF’s and several miles of cable as well and have repeated that effort at the Hurricane Harbor in Concord Ca.

Updating the Six Flags telecommunications infrastructure in an ongoing process which has included adding dozens of WAP (Wireless Access Point) for each park to connect their guests seamlessly to the Six Flags Wi-Fi network, numerous menu board displays and video displays installations throughout the park
